The tours are guided by Hamish Wakes-Miller, an Englishman, who has worked in the European wine trade for over 20 years. Hamish has experience as a buyer and seller of wine. Hamish owns a UK wine distribution company called Bella Wines Ltd and he has worked with German, Portuguese, Australian and South African wines, but his passion is for the great wines of Bordeaux and the undiscovered wines from the South of France. The South of France is truly THE MOST EXCITING WINE REGION OF THE WORLD. |

Hamish is a Judge at the International Wine Challenge (London) and he is a Gentilhomme de Fronsac. He has also lectured for Wine MBA students in England. Hamish enjoys tasting new wines and matching different foods to appropriate wines. He has featured in WINE magazine as a panel wine taster. Hamish has lived in the Languedoc and Bordeaux region for the last 6 years with his family, so he has an exceptional depth of knowledge for the wines, the people and the area. He is fluent in French. Jennifer Greco is a life long food and wine lover who realized her dream of moving to France 7 years ago. She is inspired by shopping at the weekly markets and cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients, and is passionate about all the best that France has to offer; the wine, the olive oil, the regional specialties, and especially French cheese. Her experience includes positions as a pastry chef in San Francisco, a private chef in Seattle and as a chef, caterer and cooking instructor in the south of France. |
